# Chroma Gate — Privacy Policy

Chroma Gate is a puzzle game. You do **not** need an account to play, and we do
**not** ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number or location.

This policy explains what the third-party services inside the app collect, and why.

## 1. Data that stays on your device

Your progress — unlocked levels, stars, best scores — and your settings (sound,
haptics, colour-blind mode, language) are stored **only on your own device**.
They are never sent to us or to any server. Deleting the app deletes them.

## 2. Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

We use Google Firebase to understand how the game behaves in the wild:

This data is **pseudonymous**: it does not identify you directly and is not tied
to your name.

## 3. Advertising (Google AdMob and mediation partners)

The game is free and supported by ads. There are two placements: an interstitial
between levels, and an **optional** "watch an ad for +30 seconds" offer. The
tutorial levels (L1–L9) show no ads at all.

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which works with the following networks to fill
inventory: **Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, ironSource, Liftoff Monetize
(Vungle), Mintegral, Pangle, InMobi, LINE**.

To serve and measure ads, these networks may process: your **advertising
identifier** (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device model
and OS, approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP), and your
interactions with the ads.

**This is consent-based.** On first launch:

- In the **EEA, UK and Switzerland** you are shown a consent form (Google's UMP
  framework). If you decline, you will see non-personalised ads.
- On **iOS** the system App Tracking Transparency prompt is also shown. **You may
  decline; the game works exactly the same**, the ads simply stop being tailored
  to you.

You can change your mind at any time: iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security →
Tracking; Android — Settings → Google → Ads.

## 4. Where the data goes

The services above are operated by Google (Firebase, AdMob) and the ad networks
listed; their servers may be located outside your country, including in the
United States. Each provider's own privacy policy applies:

We do **not** sell any data.

## 5. Children

Chroma Gate is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe
your child's data has been collected, write to us at the address above and we
will delete it.

## 6. Retention

Analytics data follows Firebase's default retention (14 months). Crash reports
are deleted after 90 days. The progress stored on your device stays with you
until you delete the app.

## 7. Your rights

Under GDPR (and Turkey's KVKK) you have the right to access, correct and erase
your data, and to object to its processing. Because we do not know who you are,
we may need your app instance ID in order to act on a request. Contact us at
`<support email>`; we respond within 30 days.

## 8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated. For a significant change we
will show a notice inside the app.
